  • A friend of mine recommend Mo’ Bettahs to me and I had eaten here about 4 times in the past 2 weeks. Very solid Hawaiian food. The Pulehu Chicken is my go to. Very tender and flavorful with some char. Katsu chicken my second favorite with a nice crunch. Love the Teri sauce. The Spicy Mayo was too tangy for me. Mac salad and rice were good. The Kalua Pig is good, a little on the dryer side. I had the Teriyaki Chicken once and found it dry and a little tough. Probably an off cook, might try it again some other time. Still was good though, just not compared to the other selections of protein. Service is great, but a tad inconsistent. Some days like my first time, my food was great and everything was in order. Some other days, mistakes happen or inconsistencies show up. Sometimes there’s a bed of cabbage under my plate, sometimes there’s not. I also recalled that one time not all my items (2 spam musubis) were in the bag. I was able to retrieve them by driving back, but the wrapper had a kind of oil or grease sheen on them as they were handed to me. Which was odd, but it was fine. Overall still a great place to have a good meal.

  • The food here I feel like has the meaning in its restaurant name. It is Mo’ Bettahs in my opinion. The teriyaki chicken is so good and they recently added steam veggies to the menu. Trying to eat healthier and this meal was good for my diet. If you haven’t tried Mo’ Bettahs you should give it a try.

  • This place surprisingly gave my tastebuds a jump for joy! Even got me doing my happy food dance! Flavors were on point. Staff was wonderful and so patient with my changes too—- smh — Will be returning for sure.

  • We enjoy coming here. It knocks Hawaiin Bros out of the park. The food is fresher and the POG juice is 1000% the best drink ever.

  • My overall experience was great; from the customer service to the ambiance and the service. We were greeted warmly and the staff was friendly. We looked around as they waited on us. It was a great place. My two main complaints were the prices and the food. My wife and I's meal came out to $65. I was not expecting that. Nevertheless, it was OK because we wanted to try it. The food was missing something. I'm not sure what it was. I recognize I should not compare to what I have at home but I will say, when Mexicans come here, they can find a taste of Mexico here. I am not opposed to the tastes, but, I was expecting something else... a taste of "home" maybe? However, I'm glad it's bringing a little taste of home into the far reaches of Texas. My experience was great and if you set your expectations right (it's not going to taste exactly like what you get on the islands), then you will be OK. Grind on!

  • Mo’ Bettahs is easily my favorite spot for an authentic island experience. The Kalua Pig is perfectly smoky and tender, and I never leave without a side of their creamy Mac Salad—it’s the best I’ve ever had. I really appreciate how the staff lives the 'Pono' lifestyle; they are always friendly, patient with my kids, and the service is incredibly fast. The portions are so generous that I usually have enough for two meals. If you're looking for a balanced, high-protein lunch that actually tastes like Hawaii, this is it! #EatMoBettah
